Glam Caddy

This is something I have never heard of before until Ika told me to get one. Guess what? I LOVE IT! [Gotta love that girl, she knows what's best] It has made my dressing table so much better, so much organized, or else I just dumped everything into my "vanity trolley", that I bought from Ikea. I feel like I finally using everything that I have, because I can see all of my makeups better now instead of reaching the same thing everyday. I used to store my makeups in boxes and drawers, thinking that I would rotate out, but I actually never did. I can now get rid of everything out from my drawers and put them all in this amazing storage/organizer!
I got this Glam Caddy from Lazada Malaysia, and it costs me RM36 (USD$9) each + free shipping. I heard that you can get it RM10 cheaper in Mr. DIY Malaysia, but I never found any. I bought 3 Glam Caddies from this seller in Lazada [who is no longer in Lazada], 2 of them are perfectly fine but the other one has a problem; missing items [2 items were not in the box]. Hariz tried to call the seller but nobody answered. I did Whatsapped the seller [named Min from SS Asia] about it and he/she just read my message, no replies and the next thing I know I've been blocked; even though the seller stated in his note that the item is under the seller's 1-day warranty, and I contacted him during working hours and the item was still in warranty. [Y u liddis bro] So I decided to report to Lazada and they gave me an instant refund RM40 voucher. I'm not sure if you can ask for cash refund [I think you can ask them about that], but I'm good with the voucher. No fuss at all so yay, thank you Lazada Malaysia! Hariz❤️ will try to fix that poor Caddy later, so we'll see how it goes. Heh heh heh heh

This Glam Caddy is small and compact, it will instantly get everything organized and it rotates too! So awesome. Despite of what happened, I'm still happy with my purchase!
This is what it looks like when it's empty, with the drawer out. The main reason I bought this is because I'm planning to get my hands on Tarte's Holiday 2016 double-sided brushes collection so this drawer is the best storage that I could think of to store the brushes without damaging the brushes, since it's two-sided-brushes brushes. [Damn, hahaha] It's so amazing I feel like buying more so I can put one in the toilet, one for Mama, one for the cats, urghhh!
On the top there are two compartments with lids, which is amazing. You can either flip up the lid to store foundation bottles or anything, or flip down the lid by storing small stuffs in it like cotton pads for example. What I did was, I stored my perfume samples in one compartment [lid's down] and makeup bottles in the other [lid's up].
As you can see, I stored all of my mini product samples in this storage so I can try out all of them because trust me, you won't know what you have if you keep them all in boxes or drawers, even if they're acrylic. On the box it stated that it could holds up to 200 items, which is possible. I don't know exactly how much makeups I put in mine [nope I won't count], but it is incredible enough to hold so much products. I'm obsessed with it, it just made my makeup storage and my dressing table so much better and organized.
So that's my review. If you're looking for a great makeup storage, look no further! Totally recommend this Glam Caddy. It's awesome, it makes me happy and I bet you gonna love it too! (: xx

------- UPDATED . Oct 7, 2016 -------

Few days after I complained to Lazada, Min replied my Whatsapp and asked about the missing parts. Today, a week after the incident, I've received a parcel that contains the missing items. My Caddy is now in a perfect condition! Thank you Min for responding and thanks again Lazada.

Got My Pink Box Cereal Customized!

Just received my first customized #PinkBoxCereal from "Shop Pink Box Cereal" this morning! Gonna pamper myself with some Hyaluronic Acid Water Gel during this sunny month. How perfect! I usually got my Hyaluronic Acid face mask from Innisfree for RM8 per mask. Sadly they don't sell the liquid in tubs or bottles. Hyaluronic Acid Serum can also be found under Skin Inc in Sephora. Mind you, it gonna cost you around RM350 or more for 20ml bottle. But of course, great item with [hopefully] best-quality ingredients comes in great price.
Hyaluronic Acid is a natural element of skin, present throughout the human body. Do you know that 1 gram of Hyaluronic Acid ables to hold up to 6 litres of water?! *jaw drops* [God is great. The more I know, the more I'm amazed!] This acid is probably one of the best solution for my dry, aging skin! [See how paranoid I am with aging skin?!] As we grow older, the hyaluronic acid level in our skin tends to decrease; making our skin's ability to hold water and keeping its moisture to decrease too, resulting our skin in a loss of firmness and suppleness.

Now now, sounds like a God-sent moisturiser, hey? Haha

I usually use this acid as moisturizer but some people apply it to the skin for burns, healing wounds and skin ulcers; since Hyaluronic Acid works as a cushion and lubricant in the joints and other skin tissues, so it might somehow affects the way human body reacts to injury. [Don't know, never try. Haha] Hyaluronic Acid rarely caused negative side effects, so feel free to try it! You can start with Innisfree/The Face Shop's Hyaluronic Acid face-mask if you'd like to try, before spending RM40 per tub for this gel.

However, this water gel won't leave your skin feeling 100% moisturized after you apply it since it works as supplement for the skin. You have to apply it after toner, let it dry for few minutes and you will feel your skin/face becomes matte but not dry at the same time, before you continue with serum and your [cream] moisturizer.
This is definitely the kind of Emergency Kit that I needed right now. Thank you Pink Box Cereal, for making it affordable for me! :'D You can read more about Hyaluronic Acid on the web or refer to these two websites for simple but interestingly solid explanations; Paula's Choice WebMD. (: xx

First Cult Beauty Haul!

I'm so excited to share with you guys my first Cult Beauty haul! Been eyeing on Huda Beauty Faux Mink Lashes for so long, even though I have no idea how to wear lashes but to own one is a must! I chose #5 Candy lashes as my first from the line, cuz it's cute! Got myself a Matte Liquid Lipstick from Huda too in Trendsetter! Another one is my Bae's, Atheera, in Icon. After watching Idk-how-much swatching-videos on Youtube, I think this one [click here] is the best one, in case if you're still not sure which one to get. Hope it helps!

After reading tons of reviews on these two top-rated Pixi products; Pixi Glow Tonic & Pixi Glow Mist, I know I have to try them! I always do my homework before I put my hands on anything, including the free testers/samples. Since we can choose preferred samples during checkout process, I did googled on every sample they offered! [Idk what I've become, dont ask] I chose Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse Multi Purpose Dry Oil and Aurelia Cell Revitalise Night Moisturizer as my free samples. Hope they won't do any miracles! *fingers cross*

[throws my cards away]

Thank you for rocking my September, Cult Beauty! Now let's all keep calm, save your money, hide your man, and wait for Holiday 2016 X'mas Sets! Available in Sephora Malaysia starting this October!

Innisfree Jeju Lava Seawater

Earlier this week, I redeemed my secret gift from Jeju! If you're an Innisfree VIP member card holder, don't forget to get yours! Thank you Innisfree Malaysia for the honour, to be among the earliest ones to try some samples of the upcoming anti-aging line; Jeju Lava Seawater. I personally think, Korean products work best for us with Asian skin since I find most of Korean products work on me better than the westerns', and they're affordable too! This new line claimed to moisturise and smooth out skin while fighting signs of aging; which I think, yes they do leave my skin smoother and keep it moisturised.

Just in time, I just had my 25th birthday last August. Once we reached our 20s, our skin will start to settle down after all the hassle our poor skin had gone through during the hormone upheaval of our teenage years [God knows]. In our early 20s, our skin's oil [sebum] production level may still be high therefore we may still suffer from acne/spots but our skin will slowly show signs of dryness as we aged towards mid 20s. On the bright side, dryness reduces the risk of spots, blackheads and acne! But on the other hand, it promotes the first fine lines around our lips and eyes [I'm so not ready for this!]. If you have super-oily skin, be proud of your skin! Oily skin tends to age slower than dry skin. *jealous mode-on here*

This new Innisfree's line claimed to be suited for all skin types. DO NOT use it if you are sensitive to fragrances and botanical extracts. Please check the ingredients if you have allergies. After 2 days of using this [I know its too early but here we go~ :p], personally I don't think its moisturising enough to be used as night cream for my dry skin. For night cream, I usually use either Laneige's Multi Berry Yogurt Pack or Soap&Glory Beauty Sleep Accelerator; best used during long flights too! Besides keeping my skin feeling hydrated and looking dewy, they somehow repaired my skin too.
However, I enjoyed using Jeju Lava Seawater during day time. The essence and moisturizers hold my makeups pretty well too! They are all lightweight and absorb quickly into the skin without leaving any sticky feeling or traces. I personally think it might work on oily skin pretty well, since they are entirely watery without any hints of oiliness or leaving any greasy residue. It leaves my face feeling matte but hydrated at the same time! [Can you imagine?] Living in a tropical country [indoor heat, hot showers, sunny weather], can strip away our skin's natural oil and certainly making our skin looking dull. Moisturisers are very important, no matter what skin type you have.

Conclusion, Innisfree Jeju Lava Seawater isn't a holy grail anti-aging product. It does not reduce my redness, brighten the skin, nor provide any noticeable firming effects. I find it more towards hydrating by keeping my skin's moisture retention and antioxidant protection. Suits best for those who are in their early and mid 20s with oily skin and combination skin.

Innisfree Jeju Lava Seawater line consists of Innisfree Jeju Lava Seawater Skin [toner], Innisfree Jeju Lava Seawater Lotion [moisturiser], Innisfree Jeju Lava Seawater Essence [serum], Innisfree Jeju Lava Seawater Deep Essence [serum] and Innisfree Jeju Lava Seawater Cream [moisturiser].

Innisfree Jeju Lava Seawater will be in all Innisfree Malaysia stores starting this 1st October 2016!

Blush blabs! I don't really pay attention to blushers, to be honest. These 2 [NARS Dual Intensity Blush in PANIC & TARTE Tarteist Blush Palette] are the only blushers I bought this year and I have one Chanel cream blush stick from LES BEIGES line; Healthy Glow Sheer Colour Stick in N°21 [pink]. Boyfriend bought that one for me last year.
So far, I think Tarte has the best blusher since they last the longest [at least, to me]. I know I can't be bias since I haven't tried all blushers from the market but I'm very happy with my Tarte palette! I've tried Chanel, MAC and Dior before but boy, Tarte is the bomb! As for cream blushers, I only had Chanel and Topshop. So far, Topshop is my favourite since 2012! It's really reeeaaally pigmented and long lasting too! Finished mine but sadly Topshop Malaysia has stopped bringing Topshop Makeups in now.

I rarely touch the NARS one because it's so pretty! I JUST CAN'T HAHAHA. As you know, NARS' texture is messy-free. It's not powdery, messy like normal blush does. If you're allergic to dust or messy powder, go for NARS. And of course I got my eyes on the upcoming NARS Dual-Intensity Blush Palette! I'm gonna buy you and own you *heavy breathing*. If you're always on the run, I recommend you to NOT get any palettes from NARS. NARS palette needs you to make some time for your brush to picks up the colour. Definitely not for them who always on-the-go. NARS makes pretty makeups but to be honest, you need time to get along with their palettes. And the right brush.
As for today's recommendation, if you never try any blushers from Tarte,
maybe it's time ;) xx

------ UPDATED Nov 12, 2016 ------

I went to NARS KLCC to see the new blush palette, it was so preeeeeetty but I found it too glittery for me so I decided not to buy it :/ Good news, I just saved RM240 HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

When it comes to face oil, I would say these two are my favourites! I've tried Tarte Maracuja Oil before I found these two. It did nothing for my face, didn't break out and didn't do miracle too. So I would say I am neutral about the Tarte one, and decided not to repurchase. After I've read reviews on this Caudalie Huile Divine Body Face Hair Oil, I've decided to give it a try! Glad I found this wonderful multi-purpose oil. It has this light and warm, woody scent. Texture very light, not thick at all! 1 spray if mix with foundation, 2 sprays without foundation. Works so well on my face and hair.

Face: Blends well with all my foundations, not sticky, moisturised my skin, absorbs quickly, doesn't stain or leave greasy mess on my pillowcase, long lasting, made my skin looks fantastic (with or without foundation), holds foundation well too!

Hair: Doesn't leave my hair feeling oily, hair looks healthier, tames away frizz, do miracles to my hair in less that 1 minute.

Another one is from Daughter Earth Skin! RM67 per bottle, great price for such great product! Texture is quite thick, way thicker than Caudalie. All I need is just one drop for my whole face. Since the texture is thick, I usually use it as my sleeping oil/mask. It leaves my face hydrated until the next morning! No more waking-up to dull face! The scent is very therapeutic too! This natural homemade face oil is one great Malaysian product, I must say. Surprisingly, face oil is not only for dry skin. You can use face oil too, even if you have oily skin! Luckily Daughter Earth Skin has them all under one roof!

[Source: Daughter Earth Skin]
BLUE: OILY/ACNE PRONE SKIN (Grape seed, Lavender and Geranium Oil)
Good for oily to severely oily skin, acne prone, oily cheeks and t zone, whiteheads and blackheads, scars and dark marks, pimple scab.

PINK: NORMAL /COMBINATION SKIN (Cucumber Seed, Carrot Seed and Mandarin)
Good for dull/lifeless skin, uneven skin tone, dry cheeks with oily t zone, blackheads and whiteheads, scars and dark marks.

ORANGE: FOR DRY/AGING SKIN (Almond, Rose Hip, Pomegranate)
Good for dry, tired skin, skin feels tight after cleansing, saggy skin, premature aging, fine lines and wrinkles, dry patches, long hours in air conditioned places, pigmentation, scars & dull skin.

P/S: This is not a sponsored post. Will definitely repurchase both!
Got my Caudalie from Sephora, btw. (: xx

This latest collection of Kat Von D's Shade + Light Eye Contour Quad eye palette (in RUST) was too good, I gotta purchase more from this line! Got myself two more in Plum and Sage. Thank you Babysis for the birthday treats! #LeoBabiesRock
As you can see, I haven't touched Sage yet. It's too pretty I just can't! The texture is powdery, but really pigmented. I find this KVD is slightly more pigmented than Urban Decay and easier to blend. Urban Decay was my favourite brand for eyeshadows, until I discovered these! If you ask me which one would I recommend, I would say Rust. With Rust, you can go for either smokey eyes or vibrant look/eyes. Plum (purple) and Sage (green) will only make you end up with smokey eyes, since the purple/plum and green colours are a bit too dark, especially on us with not-so-fair-Asian skin. They probably will end up looking the same, like you can't even tell if you're putting purple or green. Your eyes will just gonna end up looking smoky with dark coloured eyeshadows- that's it. Hahahaha bless you babies with fair skin.

I have to say, Kat Vond D has came up with great eyeshadows. As for the eyeliner, I prefer Stila more than KVD's. Stila is so far the best smudge-free, super long lasting eyeliner of all smudge-free & long lasting eyeliners out there. Hahaha! As for the foundation, I am aware that KVD's is thick and is made for full coverage that you can even cover your tattoo with it! You have to mix it with one drop of face oil before you put it on your face, to make it easier to blend. I didn't get one for myself because I still have my Marc Jacobs. Will talk about my favourite face oil later in the next post!

What's you favourite from KVD? (: xx
